I love good TV and good films, but what constitutes good you may well ask. I enjoy comedy, some action, human endeavor, love stories, musicals, period drama but not sci-fi or horror.
My favorite movie is “Whatever works”. I find it funny while at the same time being insightful in terms of humman nature.
Currently I think that British TV has some brilliant drama work to its credit. Recent productions such as McMafia, Hard Sun, the Night Manager, Collateral are so well done, and in the recent past Downtown Abbey set new standards in every regard.
I enjoy these films and shows in a room converted as a mini-cinema, with the same red-leather sofa that were in place in Eon Productions pre-view theatre underground in Audley Square, W1, where Jerry Cassidy ran the show to a wide cast of characters that sometimes included me.
