This was an interest new house, part of a development just outside Beaconsfield proper (actually Holtspur) which had been designed by a lady architect, Christian Hemp. We had interesting neighours, the Eames, the Harrisons and the Bradburys. John Harrison was a talented graphic designer from whom I learnt a great deal about advertising, copywriting and graphic layout.
