Our first family home, rented from Eton College with the flat above the shop it was the perfect start for my new business, Audiocraft. Modelled on the “Hungary Eye” in San Francisco it consisted of a Coffee Bar and record shop which soon became popular with Etonians of all ages. There was adequate room at the rear for a workshop for my radio/TV and Hi-Fi business activities. Later the coffee aspect was dropped and Hi-Fi took centre stage.
