My first encounter with Jerry was a phone call that I took from him wherein he asked “Are you the Revox people?”. “Yes, I replied.
“We’re the Bond people” he said and added “We would like to buy one of your tape recorders”.
This was soon arranged and as with every interesting and out of the ordinary sale I took the unit personally to their offices in Audley Square.
