With the move of the business from Long Island to Huntsville, Alabama, we purchased a house on the mountain as that location had a breeze and was cooler and more pleasant than living in the valley. In fact from our deck you could see as far as the Tennessee River, 14 miles away. Back in the late 19th century there had been a health spa/hotel on the mountain and the old chimney remains to this day. There had even been a railroad built from the town to service it.
